5th ranked Jacks will host Westlake in first round of playoffs

BOGALUSA- The Jacks (5-4) will begin their road to the dome this Thursday hosting the Westlake Rams (3-7).

Instead of a Friday night matchup, the game was moved to Thursday due to transportation issues for Westlake. Bogalusa High School Principal issued a statement Monday afternoon.

"The first round playoff game between the Westlake Rams and Bogalusa Lumberjacks will be Thursday, November 9, 2023 at 7:00 PM. The original Friday game was changed due to Westlake not having the ability to secure transportation."

Fans are encouraged to tailgate on Thursday from 1:00 PM - 6:30 PM. Tailgate spots are $25 and payments can be made at the front office of Bogalusa High School.

The winner will move on to play the winner between 21 Rayville vs. 12 Loreauville.
